Ted McGinley played the character of Roger Phillips on the TV show Happy Days. He joined the cast in 1980 during the show's eighth season. Roger was a new student at Jefferson High School and quickly became friends with Richie, Potsie, and Ralph.
McGinley's character was often seen competing with Fonzie for the attention of women, which led to some humorous moments on the show. He remained a regular cast member until the end of the series in 1984.
After Happy Days, McGinley went on to star in other popular TV shows such as The Love Boat, Dynasty, and Married... with Children. He has also appeared in numerous films including Revenge of the Nerds and Pearl Harbor.
McGinley is still active in the entertainment industry and continues to act in movies and TV shows. He has been married to his wife, Gigi Rice, since 1991 and they have two children together.
